LifeTime, Log-Gevity, Log Guard, NatureColor, and NatureOne

lifetimeLifeTime A low maintenance finish that gives a silver patina color. Pigment obtained from your local hardware store may be added to give some color. (When using pigment, more maintenance will be required.) LifeTime goes on in one easy application by brush, roller, or spray. (It must be completely dissolved in warm water before spraying.) Initial color ranges from gray to light brown or olive brown, depending on the type of wood, but matures to a silver patina. LifeTime is for all outdoor wood. LifeTime is nontoxic, environmentally friendly, and made from naturally occurring plants and minerals. LifeTime comes in a powdered form making storage and shipping easy.

Log-Gevity Log Stain & StabilizerLog-Gevity™ Log Stain & Stabilizer
Designed as the first step in a two-step process for use on vertical wood surfaces. Protects logs from ultraviolet radiation, water intrusion, and ultimate log/wood degradation by integrating metallic UV inhibitors, zinc borates, and water repellents within its formula. It extends color fastness while addressing certain harsh elevation and climate conditions. This is achieved by isolating certain solvent-borne wood stabilizing ingredients. These ingredients enable it to penetrate the wood to deeper levels, enabling the colorant to migrate further within the wood, which ultimately extends the life of the finish. Log Stain & Stabilizer stabilizes the wood, protecting the second semi-transparent coat.

Log-Gevity Log Finish Coat Log-Gevity™ Log Finish Coat
Designed as the second step in a two-step process for use on vertical wood surfaces. It consists of several essential wood protecting ingredients blended to generate a strong adhesive bond with Log Stain & Stabilizer and reinforce the UV and moisture inhibiting attributes which maintain and protect the life of the finish. Provides an aesthetically appealing, natural looking, rich warm glow commonly associated with natural wood finishes. Unlike many film forming finishes, it is breathable and will not crack or peel. Four U.V. inhibiting ingredients provide a resilient barrier that protects against damage caused by exposure to harsh climate conditions, wind and moisture erosion, and UV radiation. Apply 3-5 years after coating with Log Stain & Stabilizer.

NatureColor Base Coat & Recoater
NatureColor base finishNatureColor recoat finish
A wood protection technology which originated in Europe and is now well proven over three decades of use in the United States and Canada. NatureColor™ is an alkyd oil based synthesis of resins, pigments, polymers, and other components combined into a finish of unusual clarity and durability. Applied by brush or sprayed in a two or three coat system, it penetrates and bonds itself to wood surfaces in a translucent weathering shield. NatureColor™ is similar to Sikkens Cetol.

NatureColor™ Base Coat is used on vertical surfaces as the first and second coat of a recommended three coat system.

NatureColor™ Recoater is used as the third coat and for maintenance coats over Base Coat.) For logs and wood siding, NatureColor™ can be applied in basically two different configurations:

1. The standard application is two coats of Base Coat and one coat of Recoater (allowing each coat to dry before applying the next coat). This gives maximum protection while providing a lustrous hand rubbed appearance. An option to this method is to apply two coats of Base Coat the first year and then apply a coat of Recoater the following year. This is advantageous if you are applying finish late in the season or if the moisture level is borderline (19%).

2. As an alternative, apply two coats of Base Coat the first year and then use Base Coat when you need to apply a maintenance coat instead of Recoater. For decks and railings use 1-2 coats of BaseCoat only.
