The Hunter's Axe, though made for hunters, is popular with log builders. The butt is forged thinner than normal, gently rounded and burnished to a Flay Poll to be used when skinning an animal or working a log. Circular grooved handle surface gives steady grip even when hands are wet. 3" face, 1 lb. head, and 19" hickory handle.
