High Sierra Log Stain by Sashco. High Sierra Log Stain is a unique blend of water and acrylic-modified alkyd resins not only provides a very easy log home finish to apply, but the cured coating is both stunningly beautiful and durable. High Sierra Log Stain penetrates properly prepared wood and is extremely resistant to UV degradation, moisture, and oxidation. The high quality transoxide pigments enhance the natural beauty of wood grain while imparting a mellow sheen to the logs. High Sierra Log Stain is compatible with PeneTreat, Log Builder caulking, and Log Jam chinking. When used for an interior wood finish, it may be top coated with 1 to 2 coats of Symphony. Made in the USA.
Application Temperature: 40°F to 95°F
Coverage: 1st Coat: 150-300 sq. ft. per gal.
Other Coats: 250-450 sq. ft. per gal.
Cleanup: While still wet, tools and equipment can be cleaned with soap and water, or ammonia-based cleaners, like glass cleaner or household ammonia. If allowed to dry, mineral spirits will be required.
