1010 Chinking
is a flexible, mortar-textured sealant specifically designed for use in
log homes. Formulated from a thoroughly tested blend of latex acrylics,
1010 Chinking replaces mortar-based chinking, mastics, and glossy
caulks. 1010 Chinking remains flexible and expands and contracts with
the natural movement of logs while sealing out air and moisture
infiltration. It is environmentally safe for both interior and exterior
use and great for log home restoration projects! 1010 Chinking also carries a
10-year warranty. Recommended for use with Backer Rod. Note:
The depth of the bead should never exceed 1/4'' even at a 2'' wide
joint. If the bead is any deeper than 1/4'' the material will not cure
thoroughly making it susceptible to splitting or peeling away. Application Temperature: Above 40° F. Clean Up: Soap and Water. Case Size: 6 tubes per case.
