To obtain the 5-Year Limited Warranty:
Request a warranty form, fill out and send in accordingly. Apply two coats of Lifeline Ultra-2 on bare wood followed by two successive coats of Lifeline Advance topcoat according to directions printed on the pail. Log Wash must be used as the cleaning agent before application (bleach and water or any other non Perma-Chink cleaning agent must not be used) if the logs have grayed from weathering use Wood ReNew instead of Log Wash. If applying to media blasted logs, apply a coat of Prelude Clear Wood Primer before applying Ultra-2. If you choose to apply a borate treatment to the wood, it must be a Perma-Chink product like Shell Guard RTU. The Warranty for Ultra-2 begins on the date it was sold.

To obtain the 3-Year Limited Warranty:
Follow the steps above except apply two coats of Lifeline Ultra-2 on bare wood and one coat of Lifeline Advance topcoat. Note: Add a 2nd coat of Lifeline Advance topcoat within three years of the initial application and it qualifies for the 5-year Warranty.

Hot Weather Application

Application: Airless Sprayer or Brush; back-brushing required.
Application Temperature:
      40°-90°F. Avoid applying in direct sun.
Coats: 2 + 1-2 coats Advance Clear Exterior Topcoat.
Coverage:
      1st coat: 350-450 sq. ft. per gal.
     2nd coat: 600-800 sq. ft. per gal.
Cleanup: Soap and Water.
Drying Time: Dry to the touch in 2-4 hours, cures in 72 hours.
Shelf Life: 1 year; Freeze/thaw stable.
Surface Prep: Clean and dry, free of mold and mildew. Never use steel wool.
