Gransfors Bruks Axes
A family of high quality axes from Sweden for more than 100 years that comes with a 20-year guarantee. Each axe includes an Axe Book with a Product Guarantee Card that must be sent in to qualify. The company is located in the Swedish village of Gransfors in northern Hälsingland, around 6 miles west of the E4 motorway, between Hudiksvall and Sundsvall. The forge sits at the heart of the village and you can hear the rhythmic pounding as you approach. The following is a listing of the axes, hatchets, and mauls we carry, all of which come with a grain-leather sheath. These axes are made with hand forged quality steel.

A family of high quality axes from Sweden founded in 1697. Hults Bruk axes are made with hand forged quality steel all of which come with a grain-leather sheath and hickory handles. The Hults Bruk story begins in 1697, hand forging steel and iron with water driven hammers. The Hults Bruk factory is located just north of the Swedish city of Norrkoping. The location was selected in the late 1600s because of its advantageous spot at the end of a valley and at the edge of a forest while being next to an active stream needed for power. Over the last three centuries, Hults Bruk has perfected the art of designing and manufacturing premium Swedish axes. Today the factory is a compelling combination of the new and the old, where the underlying culture and character of exquisite Swedish ironworking endures. Hults Bruk axes are made for a lifetime of use: camping, backpacking, bushcrafting, hunting, or performing forestry work.
